Here at our state of the art dental practice, Palo Alto Dentist Dr. Hakim and her team will cater to all your dental needs. Our CEREC® One-Visit dental crowns and veneers, and Cone Beam Technologies allows Dr. Hakim to perform very accurate, computerized dental implant and crown procedures from start to finish here in our office in Palo Alto without having to visit other specialists.
With us being the top Digital Dentistry practice here in the heart of Silicon Valley, our SprintRay 3D printer, enables better responsiveness to patient needs by significantly reducing manufacturing times, and opens up new treatment options. We can create surgical guides for dental implant placement, manufacture nightguards, retainers and more right here in our office in Palo Alto.
From tooth color fillings, ZOOM teeth whitening, and teeth straightening using Invisalign, we do it all! Infection Control
Infection controls and universal precautions protect clients and staff alike. Everyone benefits from rigorous infection control — you, your dentist, and the dental team. Dr. Hakim and our entire team follow procedures recommended by several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). These measures include:
- Disinfectant hand soap
- Gloves and face masks
- Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
- Sterilization of all equipment before every use
- Disposable materials
We sterilize all reusable equipment, including dental hand pieces. We use an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure.
